Guinness book of World Records

The Nile Source to Sea Expedition in 2004 has now managed to be included in the Guinness book of World Records as the longest river expedition. He does not (yet) hold an official record, but has been included in the additional facts section in the book. The book is made up by 4000 out of 40 000 records, so even though it is not an official record, making  the published book is still something significant to celebrate! The expedition started in Lake Victoria 17th of January and reached the Mediterranean, Egypt on 21 May after 126 days on the river. Hendri never seeked such acknowledgement, but it is still something nice to celebrate on a Monday.
