I was absolutely floored reading it for the first time. It’s a rare person who can be so introspective and reflective at any age, let alone as young as he was. His take on life, especially what he encountered in his travels is amazing. I tell anyone who is interested that they need this perspective in their life, whether they’re a kayaker or not.
